Il-Qatra was founded in 2000 after a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interest and love of fine wine into a club for like-minded individuals. The first informal meeting of the group was held in Attard on the 12th of March 2000, and on that day it was decided that the club would be called Il-Qatra. Since then the club has kept on growing steadily in membership, experience, quality and reputation.
